Ask a Lawyer Impact Of Filing Corporate Bankruptcy

I am thinking of filing for a chapter 7 bankruptcy for a C-Corporation where I am the 100% owner. If I do file for bankruptcy will that affect my personal credit report? Will the business bankruptcy eventually appear on my individual credit? In addition, I have two potential law suits from ex-employees or contractors. If I file for business bankruptcy, will the lawsuits against my company stop or not?
